Contrary to popular belief, looking stylish and more fashionable and trendy doesn’t always have to be about keeping up with wearing the most up-to-the-minute, most expensive, or even over-priced stylish clothes; or getting to grips with some complex, never before practiced styling tricks. In fact, sometimes it may just be as simple and as uncomplicated as just throwing on a pair of sunglasses or tucking in your shirt (or out, really, it depends on the look you’re trying to pull off).
Now you might be thinking “I hardly have time to put together an outfit that is stylish, I am always in a mad rush!” Here is your guide to looking stylish every morning with the least effort/time AND cash spent on your wardrobe:
- Make sure your clothes fit – All women want clothes that make them look thin and tall (not being stereotypical, but you know that’s the truth). So when you are out shopping, make sure to buy clothes that flatter your shape – keeping everything in proportion.
- Know your colour – This is, for the most part, dependent on the time and place in which you are living. The colours that were HOT in the 1970’s women clothing are…well, not so hot any more. So, if your aim is to look effortlessly trendy, you’re going to want a look that is timeless, which translates to sticking to more muted and neutral colours. Nevertheless, this can be fun when paired with bold accent colours, on accessories, perhaps? Colours that you must go for may be tan, black, white, denim/navy blue, and grey. Also, beautiful accent colours consist of most shades of red, blue, plum/eggplant purple, golden yellow, and emerald green.
- Shop smartly – Not many people understand the art of making a cheap dress look expensive. But it is really as easy as investing in a nice sweater or wool coat. Trust, it will take your look up a notch.
Additionally, accessorizing well and being creative can do wonders to your look! To be honest, you can look extremely hot whilst simply wearing a plain white dress shirt you purchased on a clothing online shop for a good price…IF you carry it well.
If you really want to look classy yet aren’t one to spend hours on deciding what to wear, you’ll want your wardrobe to be one where nearly all of the pieces match with each other. This way, you can have a new look every day!
So mix and match away!
